Owners, Jon and Kay take great pride in what they do and are extremely passionate and committed to providing the freshest quality Cornish Fish and Shellfish that Cornwall has to offer.

Jon, Certified Master Fishmonger, has over 16 years of experience in the trade. On 30th August 2017, he opened the doors at Off The Hook. The word soon spread about the new exciting venture selling top quality fresh fish! With things getting busy rather quickly, Kay joined along side Jon in April 2018. With over 20 years of experience in Retail and Customer Service, the couple soon became the “Dream Team”! With a little help from Jon’s daughter Erin from time to time, expanding her knowledge and skills for fishmongery. Even Kay’s youngest, Rebekah has shown an interest in helping in the shop, she likes to hold the different types of fish, learning what species they are and follows in her mum’s footsteps with enjoying serving the customers! Kay’s eldest son Harry needs a little more persuasion than the girls to get involved! Jon and Kay are hoping that all 5 of them will be running the family business for a long time to come yet.
